Live DTF printing

The color machine. Photographic detail, gradients, and guest names — pressed in 15 seconds.

Some artwork refuses to live in three ink colors. Brand gradients, photo collages, ten-color illustrations, that watercolor monogram your designer swears by — that's DTF territory. We print your designs onto transfer film ahead of the event, then heat-press them onto garments on demand, about 15 seconds per press. Full color, crisp detail, completely washable.

How the station works

A DTF (direct-to-film) station is a row of commercial heat presses, a menu of pre-printed transfers, and an operator or two keeping the rotation moving. Guests pick a design — or build one, mixing elements like a back graphic plus a sleeve hit — choose their garment, and watch it pressed and peeled in under a minute. Because the designs live on film instead of burned screens, switching art takes zero setup time and the design menu can run deep.

The personalization unlock

This is the feature planners call us about: names. DTF makes per-guest personalization practical — names, numbers, titles, inside jokes — because individual transfers cost nothing to vary. Jersey-style numbers for a company field day, guest names on wedding welcome totes, "Class of 2026" with each grad's name under it. The shirt stops being merch and becomes theirs.

Solo act or duet

DTF runs beautifully as a standalone station — it's compact, quiet, and quick — but our favorite events pair it with live screen presses. The presses are the theater; the DTF table is the boutique. Guests self-sort between the bold commemorative print and the full-color personalized piece, throughput roughly doubles, and the station covers every art style your team can dream up. It also extends past apparel: DTF and sublimation let us decorate select hard goods and drinkware.

Where it fits in the budget

A DTF station prices like an additional press station, and the same all-in logic applies: garments, transfers, crew, setup, and unlimited pressing during your window, with most full events landing between $5K and $15K. Tell us what your art looks like in the work order — if it wants DTF, we'll say so in the first reply.
