Phoenix is an easy road market for us — the presses ride the 10 out from Fullerton and set up anywhere from a downtown convention hall to a Scottsdale resort lawn. The Valley's event calendar runs opposite ours in the best way: when SoCal cools down, Phoenix season is just heating up.
Where we set up in the Valley
Conferences and expos at the Phoenix Convention Center, corporate galas along the Camelback corridor, bachelorette and birthday energy in Old Town Scottsdale, campus events around Tempe and Mill Avenue, and resort offsites from Desert Ridge to Litchfield Park. Spring brings its own genre: spring training watch parties and sponsor activations where a live press out-draws the seventh-inning stretch.
Desert-proofed operations
Heat is a real operating condition in Arizona and we plan for it: shaded canopy setups, morning load-ins for outdoor events, and evening printing windows when resorts come alive. The technical rider doesn't change — 10×10 ft per station, two 120V circuits, level ground — and indoor ballroom builds run identical to SoCal. Plastisol ink, it turns out, is the one member of the crew that loves 105°F.
What Phoenix books
Corporate kickoffs and dealer meetings lead the calendar, followed by resort weddings (the favor-station playbook translates perfectly to a Scottsdale lawn) and golf-tournament hospitality tents where a tote and tee station keeps the pavilion busy between groups. Full-color sponsor art runs on the DTF station.
